Love Of All
By James V. Signorile (March 1969)
As the sun breaks through the clouds,
Covering the earth with its shimmering rays
Of red and blue and marigold,
For all of love to see.
The birds up high sing down to all
Who run and listen for the silver songs,
To coat their minds with water from the spring,
That flows so tenderly.
So, come and see the growing vine,
As swiftly it climbs to reach the sky,
With branches for to catch the sun
That glitters slowly by.
The painted boy, aglow from his own life,
Runs to reach the waves so high,
That he may feel its cold, clear truth,
Slipping through his toes.
The cherries on the tress tell all
That we will live today for now,
Until we find our own true way
To be forever in love of all.
